The 13th MACH competition was held this past March (just days before campus life all moved online) and was a huge success. MACH (which stands for MAthematics CHallenge) is an annual high school team mathematics competition hosted on campus by the Nicholls Math Club every spring. This year was the largest event yet, with 20 teams from 7 different schools attending. The 80 attending students take a two hour mathematics exam in teams of four and the top three teams get prizes. This year’s winning team came from Morgan City High School.
