THIBODAUX – The Office of Career Services at Nicholls State University will host its annual Career Day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 14, in the Cotillion Ballroom of the Bollinger Memorial Student Union.
“This event is a wonderful opportunity for students and alumni to network with at least 78 potential employers about current job openings as well as career opportunities,” said Kristie Tauzin Goulas, director of the Office of Career Services.
Among the participating employers at this year’s job fair are Baker Hughes; John Deere; the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries; MidSouth Bank; the Nicholls Office of Human Resources; Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center; Rouses; the United States Army; and Wal-Mart.
Graduating seniors and alumni will be designated by a red name tag at the event – but students of all classifications are invited to attend. Participants are encouraged to dress professionally and bring a resume.
