THIBODAUX – Veterans Day will be observed on the campus of Nicholls State University with special ceremonies on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 11:40 a.m. on the Quad.
The public is welcome to attend. Veterans and their families are especially welcome.
Marine Sgt. Giberto Burbante, a Nicholls student, will welcome attendees. The Thibodaux High School Junior ROTC will present the colors. There will be patriotic music and a special greeting by Dr. Stephen Hulbert, president of Nicholls. Closing remarks will be made by Sgt. Clancy Kirk of the Louisiana National Guard, a student at Nicholls.
