  • 35th Anniversary TubaChristmas 2008

Slated for Sunday, Dec. 7, in Talbot Theater, this annual event showcases the talents of participating tuba and euphonium players. Registration for musicians is $5 per person and will begin at noon, Dec. 7, in Talbot Theater-followed by a rehearsal from 1 to 3 p.m. The concert, free to the public, will begin at 4 p.m. All tuba and euphonium players are invited to participate, although the music is probably not suitable for performance by most beginning students. Novices are encouraged to attend the concert to hear what these instruments should sound like. All participants are encouraged to dress in holiday attire and/or bright colors. TubaChristmas scarves and hats will be sold at the event, and musicians may also decorate their instruments. Prizes will be awarded.
