Nicholls faculty to debate Obama presidency

THIBODAUX – Four senior faculty members at Nicholls State University will discuss the Obama presidency at a public forum, slated for 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, April 20, in the Le Bijou Theater on the university campus.

Sponsored by the Nicholls Department of History and Geography, the event will also include a question-and-answer session.

Speaking for the political right will be Dr. Glenn Antizzo, associate professor of political science, and Dr. Paul J. Wilson, associate professor of history and department head.

Representing the political left will be Dr. Joseph R. Thysell Jr., professor of political science, and Dr. Allen Alexander, associate professor of languages and literature and director of retention and student engagement. Scott Phipps, instructor of history, will serve as moderator.
