Stewart receives Presidential Award for Administrative Excellence at Nicholls

THIBODAUX – Dr. James Stewart, professor and head of the Department of Mass Communication at Nicholls State University, was awarded the Presidential Award for Academic Administrator Excellence at the first faculty meeting of the fall 2010 semester.

The award, which comes with a certificate and a $1,000 salary increase, recognizes an outstanding, full-time department head with at least five years of administrative service at Nicholls. The awardee shall have received a rating of excellent in his or her area of administration.
