Daniel Walker, an attorney from Houma representing the estate of his late aunt, Mary Elizabeth “Bettie” Wurzlow, presented a check for $25,000 to the Nicholls State University Foundation on Wednesday, Jan. 5.
In accordance with Wurzlow’s wishes, the donation will be used for improvements at Ellender Memorial Library. Pictured in the library archives area are Carol Mathias (left), library director, and Walker.
