Slade Besson, assistant director of University Computer Services at Nicholls State University, demonstrated the various technological features of the newly renovated Peltier Hall auditorium at the facility’s dedication ceremony Tuesday, Aug. 16.
The images on the screen, connected to a system that can play movies and interface with computers, are visible via a projector hidden behind one of the new acoustical shell panels. With the new technology, instructors can highlight and write on the screen; display documents, slideshows and movies; and magnify three-dimensional objects.
