Nicholls State University Police hosted a hostage negotiation training exercise on campus Wednesday, July 11, in conjunction with the Louisiana State Police and the sheriff’s offices of Lafourche and Assumption parishes.
Training included scenario-based role-play, much of which was supervised by University Police Sgt. Gary Tullis, who has more than 10 years of training and experience as a hostage negotiator.
