Nicholls International Film Club Presents “The Dish”

THIBODAUX — The Nicholls State University International Film Club and the Student Programming Association invite the community to a free screening of the acclaimed Australian film “The Dish” at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8 in Peltier Auditorium.

“The Dish,” a 2001 comedy film directed by Rob Sitch and starring Sam Neill, Billy Mitchell and Roz Hammond, tells the story of a remote Australian town populated by quirky characters that plays a key role in the first Apollo moon landing.

The movie is one of several popular domestic and international films to be screened free of charge on campus. Upcoming shows include:

March 7: “Life of Pi” (2012) USA
April 4: “Late Quartet” (2012) Canada
