Nicholls to host guest pianist for free concert

THIBODAUX, La. — The Nicholls Department of Music invites you to a guest performance featuring a pianist who has performed in the U.S., Canada and several European countries.

Dr. Dino Mulic is an assistant professor of piano at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and will be performing works by Alban Berg, Alojz Srebotnjak, Frédéric Chopin and Modest Mussorgsky.

As a professor, Dr. Mulic remains active as a recitalist. He has performed in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Maine, Michigan, New York, South Carolina, Texas and Wisconsin. Internationally, his career expands to countries including Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Croatia, Hungary and Italy.

Dr. Mulic also serves as a faculty member at New England Music Camp in Sidney, Maine, where he teaches piano and chamber music. Additionally, he is a founder and co-director of the Piano Celebration Week festival at the Corpus Christi campus.

The recital, free and open to the public, is set for 7:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 12, in the Mary and Al Danos Theater.
