Nicholls’ Al Danos College of Business to Host Open House

THIBODAUX, La. – Nicholls State University’s Al Danos College of Business invites students, parents and community members to its annual Open House on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Powell Hall’s Gros Auditorium.

This event allows future Colonels to explore degree programs, meet with faculty and current students and experience the student-first culture that makes Nicholls special.

Guests will hear from Dr. Marilyn Macik-Frey, dean of the Al Danos College of Business, about each department and its degree programs, including accounting, finance, business administration (on-campus and online), computer information systems, management, maritime management, human resources and marketing. Attendees can also meet professors and students, ask questions and get a firsthand view of how Nicholls prepares graduates for success.

“Many schools offer business degrees, but few can match the student experience you will get at the Al Danos College of Business,” said Dr. Joshua Cogswell, associate professor and associate dean. “Our Open House is a chance for you to see for yourself the personal attention, strong community and real-world preparation that set Nicholls apart.”

Whether you’re a high school student exploring your future, a parent supporting your child’s next steps or simply interested in learning more, the Al Danos College of Business Open House provides a welcoming space to choose your path.
