THIBODAUX, La. – Individual tickets are on sale for a Christmas Sing-along concert featuring Nicholls choirs and the Department of Music on Sunday, Dec. 7, at 7:30 p.m. in the Mary and Al Danos Theater on the Nicholls campus. The festive performance will feature familiar carols and holiday favorites for a spirited community event for all ages and singing abilities.
“The Christmas Sing-along is a joyful opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate the holiday season through music,” said Music Department Head and Steinway Artist Dr. Luciana Soares. “Whether you’re an experienced singer or just love holiday music, this sing-along is about connection, tradition and a shared appreciation of music and the arts.”
The Christmas Sing-along will be the third event part of Nicholls’ College of Liberal Arts Vive Les Arts performance series. The remaining events will include musical and theater productions showcasing the talent and creativity of Nicholls’ students and faculty, with the Nicholls Players production of “Arsenic and Old Lace” by Joseph Kesselring on March 21, 2026, and the series finale featuring an evening of music and fine dining in the Student Union Cotillion Ballroom on April 14, 2026.
Proceeds from this series will support the College of Liberal Arts’ performing arts initiatives. Tickets for the Christmas Sing-along are $20 each and can be purchased at www.nicholls.edu/vive-les-arts.
Individual tickets for future performances within the Vive Les Arts series will be on sale soon. For any questions or help, please contact janet.marcel@nicholls.edu or call 985-448-4657.
