THIBODAUX, La. – Nicholls State University awarded 527 degrees during its fall commencement ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025. Of the degrees awarded, 67 were summa cum laude graduates, 43 were magna cum laude graduates, 37 were cum laude graduates and 18 were graduate students who earned their masters degrees with 4.0 GPAs.
Undergraduates who completed their degree with a perfect 4.0 GPA received the President’s Medal of Honor. Those three students are:
- Keatyn Harden, Health Sciences, Pre-Professional, St. Mary Parish
- Jaci Hebert, English, Creative Writing, St. Mary Parish
- Luke Lebouef, Mathematics, Computer Science, Terrebonne Parish
