Nicholls State University is the only public university in Louisiana designated as an All-Steinway School, a distinction that reflects the department’s commitment to providing students with the highest-quality instruments and training.

“Becoming an All-Steinway School elevates not only our students’ experiences but also our ability to inspire excellence at every level,” said Dr. Soares. “Sound Unbound celebrates that ongoing pursuit of artistry and community.”

“As an ‘All-Steinway School,’ Nicholls clearly communicates their shared commitment to advancing musical excellence, just as Steinway pianos have for over 170 years,” said Steve Kinchen, president of Steinway New Orleans.
