THIBODAUX – Bayou Region residents are invited to an evening of fine dining and entertainment on Monday, Dec. 7, to help raise funds for the 12th annual Jubilee: A Festival of the Arts and Humanities at Nicholls State University. The annual Christmas fundraiser is scheduled for 6:30 to 9 p.m. at 1871 St. Mary Street in Thibodaux – the home of Robert and Mary Bond.
Participants will enjoy musical performances by Dr. Stanley Coleman, assistant professor of speech and theater; Dr. Carol Britt, head of the Department of Music and associate professor of music; Cristina Mendoza, instructor of music and assistant director of bands; and Dr. Paula Van Goes, instructor of music – as well as students from the Department of Music.
Faculty and students representing the John Folse Culinary Institute will prepare and serve a selection of holiday-inspired hors d’oeuvres.
Advance tickets to the semi-formal event are $45 for Nicholls faculty, staff and students. Ticket prices for the general public are $60 in advance and $75 at the door.
