Examples of section codes and possible meeting periods:

EM ……….6 p.m., Monday night

XT ………..Irregular start time on Tuesday evening

56M….….Any sections meeting for two consecutive time periods will reflect both class periods, i.e.,  56M

will meet at the 5th and 6th periods on Mondays. Always check meeting days and class times as

they may vary.

TBA……….Class times to be announced

HTB……….Hybrid to be announced

H5R……….Hybrid, 5th period, Thursday

WWA…….Web classes offered in the Mini A Session

WWB….…Web classes offered in the Mini B Session

 

Hybrid Classes – Schedule Types and Instructional Method:

HYB – 50% or more online instruction, H5099 – Hybrid with 50% to 99% electronic instruction

HYL – Less than 50% online instruction, H0149 – Hybrid with 01% to 49% electronic instruction

 

Course Attributes – Low Textbook Cost and Zero Textbook Cost

  • Affordable Education Resources (AER), Low Textbook Cost, means a single or collection of required educational resources that may be offered at no or low cost to a student through a postsecondary education institution or an affiliated college bookstore at a pre-sales tax cost to a student that does not exceed an amount equal to four times the federal minimum wage. AER includes copyright protected material purchased by a library and provided to a student at no cost.
  • Open Educational Resources (OER), Zero Textbook Cost, means a teaching, learning, or research resource that is in the public domain or has been released under an intellectual property license that permits the free use, adaptation, and redistribution of the resource by any person. The term may include full course curricula, course materials, modules, textbooks, media, assessments, software, and any other tools, materials, or techniques, whether digital or otherwise, used to support access to knowledge.
  • No Textbook Required (NTR), means that there are no textbooks or other educational resources associated with the course.
