THIBODAUX â€“ The Office of Continuing Education at Nicholls State University is offering the following non-credit courses for adults during the month of October:
THIBODAUX – After discussions with the Louisiana Board of Regents, Nicholls State University has revised enrollment numbers for the fall 2007 semester. The difference involves reporting of special or exceptional sessions, sessions that are not part of the regular session because of variations in the length of the session or the tuition for the session.
THIBODAUX â€“ Nicholls State University has a full slate of events for Homecoming 2007, announced Debbie Raziano, director of Alumni Affairs and chair of the Nicholls Homecoming Committee. Events with the theme â€œColonels on the High Seas” are scheduled to take place from Monday, Oct. 15, to Saturday, Oct. 20, and include:
The Nicholls State University Office of Continuing Education and Phi Mu sorority will co-host a benefit tea party for girls ages five to 10 years old, from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 30, at the Peltier Park pavilion in Thibodaux.
The Division of Music of the School of Fine Arts at Nicholls State University will present a faculty recital featuring pianist Luciana Soares at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 20 in Talbot Theater.
Celebrating equipment upgrades to the Leonard J. Chabert weight room at Nicholls State University are Greg Stock, chief executive officer of Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, and Stephen Hulbert, university president.Â Â The new equipment was donated by TRMC and is valued at $150,000.
THIBODAUX â€“ The Nicholls State University Division of Student Affairs honored outstanding faculty service to students with the annual Apple Awards program at Faculty Institute conducted Aug. 21.

THIBODAUX – Thirteen nursing seniors are taking to the highways of Lafourche and Terrebonne parishes to spread empathy for the elderly through the â€œTake a Walk in My Shoesâ€ project.
