Harris to direct continuing education at Nicholls
THIBODAUX – Simone Harris of Thibodaux has been named associate director of the Bollinger Memorial Student Union at Nicholls State University. She will oversee the Office of Continuing Education, spearheading adult and youth non-credit programs that provide opportunities for intellectual and personal development.
Classical music to be featured at annual Nicholls ‘Nocturne’
THIBODAUX – The faculty of the Nicholls State University Department of Music will present the fifth annual Nocturne – a recital in support of music scholarships – on Friday, Feb. 18, in Talbot Theater on the university campus.
Nicholls issues 2011 carnival parking policies
THIBODAUX – Nicholls State University will continue to permit public parking in designated areas on the Thibodaux campus during the upcoming carnival season. Free parking and pay-to-park services are available.

Nicholls awards two with emeritus titles
THIBODAUX – Dr. Carroll Falcon and Dr. David Middleton, both retirees of Nicholls State University, were awarded the titles of provost and vice president for academic affairs emeritus and professor emeritus, respectively, at the first faculty meeting of the spring 2011 semester, conducted on campus Thursday, Jan. 13.

Nicholls police officers receive national recognition
