Renovations to the entrance of Ellender Memorial Library at Nicholls State University were largely completed Wednesday, Sept. 15.
Structural issues including tree root disruptions, column wear, a sinking ramp for the disabled, drainage problems and a lack of lighting and outside seating areas mandated the construction overhaul. All issues were corrected in the overhaul, including the addition of an ADA-compliant ramp. Pictured is Dean Robinson, maintenance repairer 2 at Nicholls, painting the curb outside the library.
