THIBODAUX – The Office of Continuing Education at Nicholls State University will offer a variety of programs for youths 18 and under during the upcoming summer months.
Programs include athletics, recreation, self-development, fine arts, performance, academics and additional camps and classes organized in a comprehensive, youth-oriented format. Presenters from local, university and national levels are scheduled to direct and teach the programs.
“We are very excited about our summer programs,” Simone Harris, associate director of the Bollinger Memorial Student Union, said. “Our camps and classes allow children the opportunity to have productive, healthy fun during their break from school. The goal is to support their development of self-confidence, independence, leadership, mutual understanding and socialization, all in a fun and relaxed environment. We look forward to meeting your children this summer!”
