‘Welcome Back Day’ generates school spirit at Nicholls

Danny Gorr, library associate, and Rebecca Naquin, nursing instructor, competed in a “dance off” during “Welcome Back Day” activities in the Nicholls State University Quadrangle on Thursday, Aug. 25. Naquin was declared the winner by the cheering crowd. Held annually at the beginning of the fall semester, “Welcome Back Day” features music, food and information booths for new and returning students.

Lee Daigle, admissions counselor, emceed from the stage.

DoBee Plaisance, head women’s basketball coach, delivered a motivational, school-spirit-centered message.
