THIBODAUX – Jazz pianist and singer Ronnie Kole, who first gained national exposure via several guest appearances on “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson,” will perform a free concert at Nicholls State University on Saturday, March 24.
Slated for 7:30 p.m. in Talbot Theater, the concert is part of the 14th annual Jubilee: A Festival of the Arts and Humanities at Nicholls – held every spring to raise the level of awareness in the arts and humanities.
Kole honed his act in Al Hirt’s Bourbon Street club, after which he opened his own club in New Orleans – Kole’s Corner. He now tours the world on a regular basis.
