Nicholls Scholarship for Thibodaux High School Graduates

THIBODAUX, La. – The William and Brenda Bush Family Trust contributed $105,000 to create the Bush Family Endowed scholarship benefitting Nicholls students who are graduates of Thibodaux High School.

Recipients must be enrolled full time at Nicholls, be a graduate of Thibodaux High and be of freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior classification. They can be enrolled in any major but must maintain a 2.5 GPA and have a financial need.

“We are so blessed to have this opportunity to help someone who cannot afford to go to college without it,” said Brenda Bush.

One $5,000 scholarship will be awarded per year with $2,500 dispersed in the fall and spring semesters. The recipient of this award may keep it up to four years but must reapply and maintain the scholarship requirements. This award may be increased as the endowment grows.
