Reported Hazing Incidents
In accordance with the Louisiana System Guidelines for reporting hazing incidents, Nicholls State University shall make public all hazing allegations where there is sufficiently credible and specific information included in the report. Below you will find all incidents that are currently under investigation or closed.

Status of Investigation: No criminal hazing charges filed; Responsible for hazing under the Student Code of Conduct
Discipline Status of Organization: Probation through December 2026; Mandatory additional chapter-hazing prevention education; completion of Kappa Sigma national code of conduct prior to the Organization’s due date; suspension of off-campus social privileges through the official end of the Fall 2025 semester.
