Nicholls designated a military friendly school
THIBODAUX – G.I. Jobs magazine has named Nicholls State University a Military Friendly School for 2010 – an honor shared with 15 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools nationwide. The recognition stems from the efforts of Nicholls to recruit and retain active military and veteran students.

THIBODAUX – As students and parents converge in Thibodaux for another fall semester at Nicholls State University, administrators are encouraging the public to revisit the Economic and Community Impact Study, commissioned by the University of Louisiana System and released earlier this year.
Piper to discuss new ‘Col. Tillou’ on HTV-10
THIBODAUX – Renee Piper, director of university relations at Nicholls State University, is slated to appear on HTV-10’s Bayou Time program on Tuesday, Aug. 11, to discuss the university’s new athletics logo and mascot. The 15-minute segment will begin at approximately 7:10 p.m.
Nicholls to resume regular workweek
THIBODAUX – Faculty and staff at Nicholls State University will resume a standard workweek beginning Monday, Aug. 10 – with office hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
