Dr. Jackie Robichaux works on cures for cancer as an Assistant Professor at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. William Robichaux is an instructor at the UT Health Science Center. He studies the role of proteins in bacteria.

Michelle Callahan Cox, 1998 grad of Nicholls Chemistry, is a Lab Area Manager, Quality Manager and Chemist at Dupont in La Place.They are the only US plant making the intermediate for Kevlar fibers. “I’m so proud to be part of a company that contributes to saving the lives of those that protect us!”

Dant Sandras (1996)

Dr. Dant Sandras, 1996 graduate of Nicholls Chemistry, received his DDS from LSU’s School of Dentistry. He owns his own dental practice in Larose.

Eric Mistretta

Eric Mistretta earned a degree in Chemistry with a minor in business. He co-founded Chemtech, owns several chemistry patents, and is a very successful businessman. Eric is now Principal and CFO for Milan, a design group for luxury homes in Dallas and New York.

Kelli Becnel Cazenave (2002)

Kelli Becnel Cazenave, 2002 graduate of Nicholls Chemistry, is in the safety department at Marathon Petroleum. Previously, for 9 years, she worked in the lab.

Carmelita Escalante

Dr. Carmelita Escalante, Nicholls chemistry alumnus, is head of the Department of General Internal Medicine at UT’s MD Anderson Cancer Center. She graduated from Nicholls in 1981 and received her MD from LSUHSC.

Fanguy is Director of Technology Transfer as well as the President of Montana Technology Enterprise Center at the University of Montana. He earned a PhD in biophysical chemistry at Mississippi State University.

Zeringue is president and CEO of Southern Pipeline Services. He was a chemist for 14 years at Entergy before entering pipeline services.
