THIBODAUX – Coastal Commerce Bank and Nicholls State University invite the south Louisiana community to Kasasa Rocks Nicholls, a free, family-friendly campus festival and concert featuring the Gin Blossoms on Sunday, Oct. 30.

Festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a Halloween costume contest for students ages 15 and up, with $1,000 in cash prizes available. Registration for the contest will take place from 5 to 6 p.m. near the staging area between Elkins Hall and Highway 1 on the Nicholls campus.
The Gin Blossoms emerged as nationally popular artists in the 1990s with Billboard hits “Hey Jealousy,” “Found Out About You,” “Til I Hear It from You” and “Follow You Down.” The band tours throughout the United States and has maintained a cross-generational fan base.
The event will also include a Halloween-themed festival with games and food from local vendors. All proceeds will benefit the Nicholls State University Foundation.
