THIBODAUX – The 2009 Bonnie Bourg Lecture Series – slated for 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 26, in the Le Bijou Theater of the Bollinger Memorial Student Union at Nicholls State University – will feature New Orleans director of Global Green USA and former New Orleans assistant district attorney Beth Galante as keynote speaker.
Galante’s lecture, titled “Women Taking the Lead to Save our Planet,” is free of charge.
The annual Women in History Month Award Luncheon will follow the lecture in the Cotillion Ballroom of the student union. Admission is $15 per person. Awards will be presented in faculty, staff, student and community categories.
