Case Number: 001
A student was frying pastries on the stove in room 715 when the fire started. The fire possibly started from the oil getting too hot. The fire was contained to one room.
Case Number: 002
A student was cooking a roux on the stove in room 212 when the fire alarm went off for an adjacent building. She thought she turned the stove off, but had actually turned it on high prior to exiting the building. This fire was contained to one room.
Case Number: 003
A student was cooking dinner on the stove in room 316 when fire/flames began coming up from the burner. The resident used her kitchen fire extinguisher and was able to successfully extinguish the fire. This fire was contained to one room.
