Nicholls and Thibodaux Regional Medical Center launch pilot course

THIBODAUX – Nicholls State University and Thibodaux Regional Medical Center have teamed to establish “Living Well” – a spring 2010 special topics course in the Department of Allied Health Sciences that is designed to promote physical fitness, weight control and other healthy lifestyle choices. The goal is to promote behavior among college-age students that will reduce the likelihood of obesity-related diseases later in life. (more…)

Nicholls United Way campaign largest in seven years

THIBODAUX – The 2010 United Way campaign at Nicholls State University raised $15,720 among faculty and staff for community service efforts in south Louisiana – approximately $5,000 more than the 2009 total, and the most for any year since 2004. (more…)

Executive business program at Nicholls expands as demand grows
