Welcome

The Nicholls State University community looks forward to seeing you around campus. However, we also want to make sure you don’t go home with a parking ticket.

The Office of Parking Services issues decals, parking permits and visitor passes. It is also responsible for ticketing illegally parked vehicles and administering the citation appeals process.

Everyone who parks on the Nicholls campus is required to get a parking permit. Permits may be obtained via mail or in person from LeBijou Theatre during specific days prior to each fall semester. Throughout the year, student, faculty/staff and visitor permits can be obtained from the Office of Parking Services in the Bollinger Memorial Student Union.

Don’t take any chances. Any vehicle without a parking permit displayed may receive a parking ticket of $20 for each violation.

  • The area by the post office is a no parking zone.
  • Faculty/Staff permits are movable from one vehicle to another but vehicles must be registered.
  • If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Parking Services or refer to your parking manual. All questions should be referred directly to this office or the parking manual.
