Driving a different car to campus today? You can now download and print an application for a temporary parking permit. Just fill out the application with your information and the information of the vehicle that you will be driving. Bring your application to our office and we will give you a temporary permit.
Each temporary permit issued is valid for that one vehicle for two consecutive weeks. You are allowed to have two free temporary permits per semester only if you have a current decal from that school year. If you have not purchased a decal for the school year and get a temporary permit, you will be charged the full price of a permit, but can come back later that same academic year to get another one at no extra charge. The parking rules for use of a temporary permit are the same as those with a regular permit except the permit hangs from your rear-view mirror.
If you have a new car that does not have a real license plate, you can only get a temporary permit. That temporary will last for 6 weeks, which is usually enough time for your license plate to come in.
