Emma Spitznagel
Nicholls Library
Nominated by: Andrew Barbier
Emma becomes instant friends with every person she helps. She makes the library feel like a home for all patrons as she treats every patron as if they were family. There are many sections of the library that would not be intact without her keen eye and ability to dig into mundane work. On top of all of that, she uplifts all that work with her. Emma is graduating at the end of the semester. I do not think we can fill the hole she will leave. She has trained many of the new student works and has taken on projects that have made my life and the library much better. I would, in a heartbeat, hire her for any position in the library. She also shreds on a skateboard, which is pretty cool!
