Fall 2026 Available Scholarships
LAUREN LAPEYROUSE GUIDRY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP [1 @ $750]: The Thibodaux Service League will award a scholarship to a full-time student at Nicholls State University majoring in Education. The recipient must be at least a sophomore, involved in Greek Life, and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. The scholarship of $1,500 ($750 per semester) will be awarded for two consecutive semesters to a student who demonstrates financial need. To maintain the scholarship for the second semester, the student must be enrolled full-time and must maintain their minimum 3.0 GPA. The applicant must supply a resume or letter explaining their passion for education. DEADLINE TO APPLY– June 1, 2026. THE KOCH METHANOL ST. JAMES ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP [1 @ $250]: is awarded to a full-time student enrolled at Nicholls State University. The student will be a freshman for initial awarding with a high school GPA of 2.5 or higher. Primary preference will be given to a graduate of St. James High School. Secondary preference will be given to a graduate of Lutcher High School. The recipient will be a resident of St. James Parish. The recipient will demonstrate a financial need by being awarded a federal Pell Grant. The scholarship is open to all majors. The scholarship will be awarded for 8 semesters, as long as the student maintains a 2.5 overall GPA and full-time status (12 or more hours). Applications are due: May 3, 2026.
