In Carol Meyers’s memory, the Louisiana Association of Teachers of Mathematics is pleased to award the Carol Meyer Scholarship Award to college upperclassmen with a declared major in elementary education, mathematics education, or mathematics. In addition to the scholarship, the awardees shall receive complimentary LATM student memberships. It is our hope that another future outstanding mathematics teacher or mathematician will be helped along the way by this award.  There will be 2 $500 awards given. In order to lessen the financial burden on students in the CF community and keep focus on school, the Boomer Esiason Foundation will be awarding 20 students $10,000 scholarships each year, with the opportunity for more financial aid. The BEF Scholarship committee considers the applicant’s scholastic ability, character, leadership potential, service to the community and need for financial assistance. During the application process, students will be given the option to write a long-form essay answering a specific question pertaining to a scholarship designation. Applications for the 2025-2026 General Henry H. Arnold Education Grant Program are now available through April 30, 2025. This program, also known as the Hap Arnold Grant, is the centerpiece of the AFAS education support.  The application process for the Arnold Grant serves as a platform for other key education support opportunities at the Society, including the Merit Scholarship program, and Interest-free Supplemental loan program.  The Hap Arnold grant is uniquely tailored to recognize the proper weighing of family income and education costs.  Award amounts vary each year.  The specific amount awarded correlates to a student’s particular level of financial need. Please review the eligibility criteria and documents here before starting an application to ensure you qualify.

The CWA Joe Beirne Foundation was established in October 1974 by the Communications Workers of America Executive Board to honor the name and memory of the founding President of CWA. This year sixteen partial college scholarships of $4,000 each are being offered for the 2025-2026 school year. Winners, selected in a lottery drawing, also will receive second-year scholarships of the same amount contingent upon satisfactory academic accomplishment. The All-Star Scholarship is open to children adopted at or after the age of 13 (or who have exited foster care to permanent guardianship) to provide increased opportunities for advanced education. Each year, one student will be selected to receive the scholarship. This student will be eligible to receive up to $10,000 annually to go towards tuition, books, and other college-related expenses. The Foundation of the Federal Bar Association Public Service Scholarship seeks to provide $5,000 as assistance to a graduating high school senior planning to attend a four-year college or university. At least one of the parents (or guardians) of the student must be a current federal government attorney or federal judge and member of the Federal Bar Association. Pittsburgh Injury Lawyers P.C. want to help future personal injury attorneys with their education costs by offering an annual $500 scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded based on an essay competition with a topic focused on personal injury.
