Internship placements have been at the National Park Service, Oceaneering, the Thibodaux Police Department, the City of Thibodaux, Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Waterworks, as well as other organizations.
Students register and receive credit for ENGL 489: Senior Internship.

The internship director works with placement sites to ensure not only the student benefits but also the business, agency, or nonprofit.
Student interns work 10 hours for 10-12 weeks during the internship.
Students have faculty with professional writing experience to support them.
