Social Media & Marketing Manager

With a network of clients and referrals throughout the United States, The O.W.N. Life is ready to provide a complete range of sales, leasing, consulting, and management services. We seek a Social Media and Marketing Manager as an independent contractor for up to 20 hours per week to support the growth of our brokerage as we serve customers. Work may be performed remotely:

Objectives

  • To assist in driving awareness and sales through digital and social platforms for The O.W.N. Life (“Client”).
  • To collaborate with Client in developing content that is informative, engaging and visually appealing.
  • To maintain the content and integrity of the brand e-mails, social media platforms and website.

Scope of Work

The Contractor agrees to provide comprehensive social media management and email marketing services to the Client. The services will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. a) Content Creation and Scheduling
  • Develop and schedule a minimum of 3 posts and mobile videos/reels per week at optimal times for engagement, incorporating input from the Client, for each social media platform (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok) for The O.W.N. Life and the Broker’s personal profiles.
  • Create and share engaging Instagram stories and maintain story highlights.
  • Provide and maintain a detailed content calendar to organize and plan posts, ensuring consistent and strategic content distribution.
  1. b) Account Management and Engagement
  • Manage all social media accounts, including responding to comments and community management engaging with followers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase engagement and followers.
  1. c) Performance Monitoring and Reporting
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for both social media and email marketing as defined by the Client.
  • Provide monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
  1. d) Email Marketing
  • Design and schedule email campaigns (e.g., Mailchimp).
  • Segment email lists to ensure targeted and relevant messaging.
  1. e) Content Management and Blogging
  • Assist with blog writing, ensuring content aligns with social media and email strategies.
  • Aid in content naming, archiving, and reposting, along with providing tips and hacks for channel growth.
  1. f) Project Management and Coordination
  • Detail the scope of work and individual tasks within the project management software provided by the Client.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Client to ensure alignment on goals and expectations.
  1. g) Additional Services
  • Provide strategic recommendations for content themes and trends.
  • Conduct periodic audits of social media channels to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of managing and executing social media campaigns across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Experience with email marketing tools and strategies.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
  • Strong understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Google+, and other social media best practices.
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing.
  • Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience with content creation tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels.
  • Hands-on experience in content management.
  • Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics.
  • Knowledge of social media analytics tools.
  • Creative mindset with a strategic ability.
  • Excellent multitasking skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Google Analytics Certification is a plus.
  • Facebook Blueprint Certification is a plus.
  • Understanding of real estate industry trends and dynamics is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if necessary.
