Are you passionate about journalism and eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic newsroom environment? We are seeking interns to join our esteemed media family in Baton Rouge. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to develop your reporting, writing, visual and digital skills. The internship can be catered to areas and beats of interest, from city government to features, sports or social media and video production.
Our paid internships are part-time and typically last 8-10 weeks. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program or recent graduate.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated interest in journalism and media.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed.
