RiverParishFootball.com is seeking a correspondent to cover games in the River Parishes on Friday nights during the season, along with other game-night coverage help.
The position is ideal for college students with flexible schedules and looking to earn a bit of extra spending money. Budding journalists looking for practical experience would make for strong candidates. Correspondents need reliable transportation and should have a strong knowledge of football and be proficient writers.
Along with covering a game on Friday night, we asking the correspondent that after his/her game, he/she contact a coach from one of the games we were unable to personally attend to put together a call-in story for additional compensation. The call-in basically would consist of getting the scoring summary and stats from that school's stat person and a quote about the game from the coach and write it up as a story.
Correspondents are paid on a per-assignment basis.
