THIBODAUX – Graduation rates of student-athletes at Nicholls State University continue to improve, according to a report issued Tuesday, Oct. 14, by the National Association of Collegiate Athletics. Colonel athletes graduate at a rate of 59 percent-a three-percent increase from last year.

THIBODAUX – High school and college students alike will have the chance to prove their video-gaming abilities at Game Day 2008 – a two-day competition spearheaded by the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Nicholls State University.

THIBODAUX – The entire community is invited to a pep rally at the Thibodaux Wal-Mart on Friday, Oct. 17, to help kick off Nicholls State University’s first home football game of the season-slated for Saturday, Oct. 18, at 2 p.m.    

THIBODAUX – Dr. Shari Lawrence, assistant professor of finance at Nicholls State University, is the Nicholls Academic Council’s October honoree for outstanding service and significant contributions to teaching.
