The Housing Selection Process

Below are important steps and notes about the room selection or auto-allocation process for returning students and first-time students. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Housing Assignments for First-Year Students!

Housing Application Opens For New Students!

First-Time Students can now sign up to live on campus! Paying the $100.00 Housing Application Fee is a crucial step in the housing application process. Although the date that you complete the application determines your housing priority, you won’t receive a room assignment unless you pay the $100.00 Application Fee.

Complete Application & Pay Housing Deposit!

Students have the opportunity to complete their application and pay their $100 Housing Application Fee. During this time, students have the ability to choose their room placement preferences and select their ideal roommates.

June - July

Rooms Are Assigned to New Students!

Students who have paid their deposit from September until now will receive their room assignment based on their preferences and the date that their deposit was paid.

June - July

August

Move-In Day Weekend!

Students will pick up their new key and move-in to their new home for the year! Welcome home, Colonels!

Housing Application Opens

Returning students fill out the application or exemption form. No additional deposit is necessary.

Roommate Grouping Time

Returning students group with other returning students for their potential roommate for the next semester.

Lottery Process Runs

During a returning student’s lottery timeslot, they will choose which room they want for the next semester from rooms that haven’t yet been chosen.

Waitlist Is Available

A waitlist is made available for students who may not have received a room that they had in mind. From here, room changes are conducted when we are able to accommodate the request.
