The Housing Selection Process
Below are important steps and notes about the room selection or auto-allocation process for returning students and first-time students. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Housing Assignments for First-Year Students!
September
Housing Application Opens For New Students!
First-Time Students can now sign up to live on campus! Paying the $250.00 housing deposit is a crucial step in the housing application process. The date that you complete this step sets your priority placement during the room assignment process.
September - June
Complete Application & Pay Housing Deposit!
Students have the opportunity to complete their application and pay their $250.00 housing deposit. During this time, students have the ability to choose their room placement preferences and select their ideal roommates.
June - July
Rooms Are Assigned to New Students!
Students who have paid their deposit from September until now will receive their room assignment based on their preferences and the date that their deposit was paid.
August 11 - 14
Move-In Day Weekend!
Students will pick up their new key and move-in to their new home for the year! Welcome home, Colonels!

February 15
Housing Application Opens
Returning students fill out the application or exemption form. No additional deposit is necessary.
February 15 - March 7
Roommate Grouping Time
Returning students group with other returning students for their potential roommate for the next semester.
March 7
Lottery Times Sent Out
Returning students will be assigned a lottery timeslot based on the amount of earned credit hours that they have completed. This timeslot will be when they choose their Fall semester room from rooms that are still available. This PDF shows you ‘How To Choose A Room‘ will assist you in choosing a room.
March 8 - 11
Lottery Process Runs
During a returning student’s lottery timeslot, they will choose which room they want for the next semester from rooms that haven’t yet been chosen.
April 19
Waitlist Is Available
A waitlist is made available for students who may not have received a room that they had in mind. From here, room changes are conducted when we are able to accommodate the request.
