Choose the Chef John Folse Culinary Institute for our reputation and world class education. Leave culinary school with less debt, a stronger education, and the opportunities to work in a multitude of culinary careers. A 4-year degree from Nicholls is approximately half the cost of a 2-year degree from a private institution. With the rising cost of tuition and fees we want to give you some relief from your financial burden by offering in state tuition to all students.

Full College Experience

Traditionally, culinary schools only allow students the opportunity to learn inside the kitchen. At the Chef John Folse Culinary Institute, our students will be provided with the opportunity to do more. With over 100 student organizations and 14 NCAA Division 1 Sports teams, Nicholls students are immersed in campus life where they receive the full college experience.

Real World Experience

100% of our students are part of internship programs. These experiences help students gain invaluable experience in the industry as well as networking opportunities for after graduation.

The Nicholls State University Office of Career Services assists students in finding the perfect job through its services and its annual Culinary Career Day. Required externships and field experiences help students make connections in the industry that often lead to future full-time employment.
