The Classified Civil Service Advisory Committee serves as a communication link between Nicholls State University’s classified employees and the University administration. The committee represents the interests of classified staff by gathering and sharing perspectives related to employment matters, workplace conditions, and institutional
initiatives.

Through ongoing dialogue and feedback, the committee promotes transparency, engagement, and collaboration across all areas of the University.

The committee operates in coordination with the Director of Human Resources, who serves as the appointing authority and liaison for civil service matters. The committee’s role is advisory in nature, providing
input and recommendations to enhance the work environment and strengthen the connection between employees and University leadership.
